Common questions
How does the AI credit meter work?
The standard rate is 10 nodes per credit, rounded up; connecting edges are free. For example, 60 nodes use 6 credits. Studio shows your quote before you confirm; configured diagram or template weights can change that quote. Your 14-day trial includes 10 one-time credits. Personal includes 20 credits each month. An optional one-time purchase adds 20 credits for $15 USD. Failed or cancelled operations are not charged.
Why not unlimited hosted AI on Personal?
Credits make the allowance and the cost of additional work visible before you create. Text length alone does not determine the charge, and choosing Quick or Deep does not set a fixed credit price. Review the quoted nodes and credits before confirming.
Which AI providers work?
Administrators can configure supported hosted, local, and OpenAI-compatible endpoints. The exact list depends on deployment credentials and API compatibility; the in-app provider status is the source of truth.
What if I cancel?
Cancel through billing management to stop future renewal. Export your work before paid access ends. Account deletion is a separate explicit action in Settings and is not presented as an automatic cancellation side effect.
Does Personal include enterprise access controls?
SSO and enterprise RBAC are not included in the plans shown here.
Which portable formats are included?
Export Mermaid source, Markdown, PNG, PDF, accessible SVG, or a self-contained printable HTML report. “Copy for Word / PowerPoint” uses browser clipboard formats when available and downloads SVG as a fallback; it is not a native Office add-in.
